Gela Baynrac used to be a werewolf but she's alright noOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW

A rogue member of the Mortalitasi kidnapped her in the interest of personal experimentation, and infected her with lycanthropy when she was thirty years old. She was a werewolf for three years until other members were able to catch and cure her. She has fragmented memories of this time. Though she was told she was cured, she doesn't trust that information, and is very anxious of turning back into a werewolf at any moment! She has spent her time since travelling, wary of staying in any one place, or letting anybody get too close. She's joined Riftwatch because the people here are strong, and know magic and she thinks that if she reverted to her werewolf-form they would be able to safely contain her.

Subsequently, she has been exiled from Nevarra. Sort of? Her father told her to get the fuck out of Cumberland at the very least, and she treats the entire kingdom as off limits. Because she's trying to act as if she's a different person now, she throws her voice to try and sound like she isn't Nevarran. Her accent is there, albeit scrambled about. She pitches her voice a little higher than it actually is We aren't doing this anymore, we talk normally now. Low cadence, full Nevarran accent!

Of the many places Gela frequents during the day, her favourite spot in the Gallows is the dining room, because that's where the food comes from. She'll say yes to literally any favour asked of her so one will certainly come across her doing odd jobs about the place.
